CHAP International (CHAP) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the users of its website.
CHAP reserves the right to make changes to this policy without advance notice. By using this website, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use this website. Your continued use of this website following the posting of changes to these terms will mean that you accept those changes.
CHAP promises to not misuse the information you entrust to CHAP. This policy does not apply to your use of sites which link to CHAP’s website or websites you may link to from CHAP’s website. This policy covers only information collected on the CHAP website and does not cover any information collected offline by CHAP.
The only way CHAP will obtain identifying information about you when you visit its site is if you voluntarily submit that information to CHAP. CHAP will never intentionally disclose any personal identification information about you as an individual user to any third party without having received your permission. Otherwise, CHAP does not require you to identify yourself or reveal any personal information about yourself. CHAP may track the number of visitors to the different sections of its site, but this is strictly the number of "hits," not details on specific visitors. When you provide personal details in order to make an on-line contribution (in the form a donation, sponsorship or similar transaction), CHAP collects the information needed to complete your transaction, receipt your gift, and communicate back to you. Credit card numbers are used only for contribution processing and are not retained for other purposes.
CHAP appreciates your contribution. Contributions are nonrefundable and cannot be returned. If you discover that you have made a donation in error or you have made an entry error, CHAP will rectify the error. If the error resulted in you giving more money than you intended, CHAP will credit your account for the difference. In such case, or if you believe CHAP has made an error in processing a transaction, please call CHAP immediately at (717) 629-4329.
You may see advertising or other content on CHAP’s site that links to other third party websites. CHAP does not control the contents or links that appear on these sites. CHAP encourages you to review the privacy policies of any third party sites or services before providing any of them with your personal information.
The articles, photographs, logos, etc, on CHAP’s website are either the copyrighted property of CHAP International or are copyrighted by another company and used with their permission. Please honor these copyrights and do not reproduce these materials without CHAP’s express written permission.
